...why is it called "Gong Bath"?

..."Gong" for the reason that only one gong is played on the same instrument, or more than one, and in this case four of them...
...the planetary gong Sun, which immediately wins over most clients with its wonderful qualities. Its vibration evokes feelings of self-confidence, assertiveness and leadership, its energy gives us vitality and strength. The vibrations of the Sun Gong create a sound bath that is bright, expansive and generative. In the therapeutic environment, it balances the distortions in the emotional field that are manifested by feelings of anger, self-absorption and alienation from the community. It moves us towards love, deeply touches the heart and spine, overcoming blockages that manifest as a feeling of limitation and constriction and the inability to receive love.

We will also vibrate the Feng/Wind gong, the planetary gong Venus and Chau or the better known Tam Tam gong.

..."bath", because clients, including myself, describe that during a sound/gong bath, they feel as if they are "bathed" in sound, cleaner, fresher, freed from negative thoughts and most importantly in peace...in peace with yourself...

During the gong bath at the @mella.yogaandsoundtherapy studio, you will relax on a comfortable bed, rest your head on a pillow filled with buckwheat flakes, cover yourself with a soft and warm blanket, try to release all the tension in your body and surrender to the vibrations and tones of these ancient powerful instruments...
